Professional Body Piercing is performed with one sterilised needle used only once.

Jewellery that has to be used in the piercing guns is absolutely unfit for the human body because of the poor quality of the metals used and of their content in NICKEL. It is remarkable that NICKEL is carcinogenetic for the human body.

Professional Body Piercing is performed with disposable sterilized needle that afterwards is thrown in organic waste bucket (usually a small yellow box marked "biohazard").

All the tools should be sterilized and pre-sealed in sterile space and must be used only to one person at a time. After their use should be cleaned and placed in the autoclave sterilizer.

New clean latex gloves are required at every piercing and have to be replaced whenever needed.

The room where the piercing is performed must be kept scrupulously clean as well as the bathroom and the other common areas. All surfaces should not be porous to allow a cleaning with liquid disinfectants.

Choose carefully the body piercing studio to give you your new piercing. Remember that you are going to do something simple if you chose an experienced piercer.
